When you advocate, you lend your voice to champion a cause. Get informed about the issues United Way is working on and speak out.
Advocating on behalf of United Way is easy:
- Help spread the message by talking about United Way's work. Learn about the impact United Way is making in the Waukesha County community, and share what you learn with family members, friends, co-workers and neighbors.
- Inform community members about the resources available through United Way's funding. Examples include 2-1-1/First Call for Help and the United Way Volunteer Center.
- Consider joining United Way's Public Policy committee. The committee is responsible for keeping current with public policy issues and working on building relationships with public officials to advance the common public policy agenda.
