Loaned Executives

The Loaned Executive Program provides United Way with additional staff during the annual campaign. The loaned executives act as account managers facilitating relationships and coordinating workplace campaigns. This valuable resource allows the United Way to have personal outreach to over 500 businesses while keeping costs low. Loaning an executive is not only beneficial to United Way, but it benefits the executive and their company as well. Some benefits to the loaned executive and their company include: 

-Enhanced public speaking skills

-Improved account management, time management, teambuilding, and leadership skills

-Strengthen relationships and gain valuable networking contacts

-Return to the workplace with a fresh new community perspective

The ideal loaned executive candidate has a strong desire to make a difference in our community, is able to manage multiple tasks, works easily in a fast-paced environment, and his highly motivated and enthusiastic. 

Businesses can either loan an employee for a 14 week period or sponsor the hiring of an outside professional on a full, half, or quarter time basis. If interested in sponsoring a loaned executive for the 2013 campaign email Michelle DuBord, Director of Investor Relations.
