Transportation Access

A number of low-income individuals and families have no available resources to access needed transportation for medical appointments, physical therapy, finding or maintaining a job, or being taken away from a threatening situation. The targeted individuals and their families find themselves at-risk for poor health, lacking the resources to become self-sufficient or becoming a victim of a domestic abuse situation. Transportation is the key component missing from their lives due to their financial or personal situation.

Transportation Access Partners: Badger Bus, Catholic Charities, Cooperating Congregations of Waukesha County, Hebron House of Hospitality, Interfaith Senior Programs, La Casa de Esperanza, Metro Transit, ProHealth Care Transportation, Stackner Family Foundation, The Women’s Center, United Way in Waukesha County and Waukesha County Development Block Grant.
