United Way Volunteer Center
"Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'"
~ Martin Luther King, Jr.
The United Way Volunteer Center creates connections between volunteer opportunities and individuals, groups and families to help them serve their community in Waukesha County. The Volunteer Center helps non-profit organizations use volunteers effectively, develop volunteer leaders, and advocate for volunteerism resulting in an increase number of volunteers mobilized in the community. We help you help others.
GIVE AN HOUR. GIVE A SATURDAY.Volunteering for a worthy cause can be fun, fulfilling and an activity you will look forward to week after week, month after month or year after year. You decide when and how much to get involved.
Best of all, you will be helping people who need you. You will also be helping yourself. Most volunteers claim that volunteering benefits them as much as it does the people being served.
